The Cosmic Groove Orchestra is feeding its music from a diversity of musical worlds, consisting of very different elements: Spiritual jazz from the sixties, modal jazz, free jazz, old and new classical music and not least pop music.

The inclusion of the concert harp (as played by Alice Coltrane...) in a jazz group is a very rare occasion, which is one of the main ingredients of their unique and special sound. Most important for the group are the complex but catchy compositions, almost exclusively written by the members themselves, that are beautifully interpreted in their very own way. The group manages not to just imitate their great idols, but to translate the universal musical spirit of the late sixties in our time, and to unify it with an independent and modern musical language.
